I recently purchased a car from a private party that had some work done on it by 5th Gear about 6 months prior to my purchase. After several weeks of driving the car, there was an issue that I thought might have been related to the area of work they had done. I called them up, brought the car in, and they fixed the issue - no questions, no charge. Now that's standing by your customers and the cars you have worked on! I can see why their online reviews are so positive.
I had an injector go bad on my powerstroke and needed to diagnose which one it was and what had gone wrong. They were awesome about getting my truck in and working on it in a timely fashion. When the call came about the problem, they were completely fair and honest about the price. They were also very cool about me declining to fix it there due to the cost (anybody with a powerstroke knows what it's like to be poor lol). My only complaint? They forgot to reattach my air filter... no big deal though, since it was coming off anyways.
Great staff. They've helped me with countless projects, and they've always been friendly and helpful no matter how strange the job. Highly recommend, these people are extremely competent.
