Today, I got to experience that myself. As someone who is very anxious about dental treatment, I was dismayed when last night I broke a tooth. Dr. Petersen squeezed me into his schedule, and placed a temporary filling, pain-free! I immediately signed up for his yearly dental plan as we do not have dental insurance and will see him for a permanent filling in a few weeks. My confidence is restored. Thank you.
You should not play word technicality games when people ask if you accept insurance.

My wife called and asked if they accept Metlife, making an appointment after she was told "Yes we accept Metlife."
When I called to discuss post visit charges we didn't expect with an in-network dentist, Gene condescendingly said that my wife "heard what she wanted to hear" and that technically they DO take Metlife, even though they were out of network.
This review is long over due. I was looking for a dentist in my neighborhood about a yr an 1/2 ago. I received an into offer and thought lets try it. I didn't have insurance at the time so the $39 special made sense. These guys are super friendly and very accommodating to my 'sensitive teeth' even when I'm getting a cleaning. I've gotten some work done here too. I had a couple fillings taken out and had crowns put on to preserve both of my back molars. The first time I was experiencing some discomfort when I had the temporary crown on. I was very pleased when Dr Petersen himself answered my call/text on a Sunday and meet with me on Monday (when the office is technically closed) he didn't charge me and made me feel that my needs were just as important to him as they were to me. This is a great office from the hygienists to the billing to the consults all top notch, would highly recommend!
My initial visit was scheduled in a timely manner, and that visit was thorough and reassuring. A follow-up visit was scheduled later in the week, and excellent care was given; I am so very thankful to have found a dental office that meets my needs exactly. Thanks to all of you!
Have been taking my 13 yr old granddaughter here for the last year and have been impressed by Dr. Petersen and his staff. They really make you feel at ease and comfortable.
The Staff is absolutely wonderful! So kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel as comfortable as one can be at the dentist's office! I definitely recommend Peterson Family Dentistry!
